Opened in 2003, KIDS ONLY ACTING CLASSES (KOAC) is one of the most respected acting studios for young performers in the lower mainland.
In our one year tenture we have extended the Drama For PreSchoolers program from 3 to 4 weeks and still kept it affordable. We redesigned our scenes for kids class for ages 5 - 7 years old to make it more accessible for this unique age group. Our First Take class will give your 5 -7 year old scene experience without the requirement to read by using their own instincts, feelings, imagination, energies and personality to create a believable performance for the camera. As Chameleon Studio; offering Kids Only Acting Classes we will continue to provide professional on-camera acting programs, one day workshops, acting camps and private coaching for young actors ages 3 - 17 from beginner to advanced skill levels. And now we offer vocal instruction for singers interested in Jazz, Blues, R&B, Rock, Gospel, Country and Pop.

We hire only the best instructors who truly love acting and sharing their skills and knowledge with their students. We also offer technical guidance and support about our local film industry for both our students and their parents.

Several of our young performers have appeared in a variety of feature films, television series, movies of the week, music videos and theatrical productions. For those very special auditions, we offer coaching sessions to add detail and depth to an actor's performance before their audition.

CONGRATULATIONS TO...
SEAN MATHIESON (10) Sean has been cast in a new TV series called J Pod - "The Last Shot", directed by Peter Deluise. He will be in a flashback scene and he is appearing as "Young John Doe". It will be aired in 2008 on CBC. Sean was also cast in the Vancouver Playhouse Musical Production of OLIVER (2007). Excellent job Sean! Sean has taken various workshops at KOAC.

VICTORIA BURROWS (9) Victoria recently booked a role for a VFS short film "No Return" directed by Nadine Mahfouz.
Victoria also booked a commercial for The Canadian Epilepsy Alliance. Victoria has been studying with KOAC instructor Susan Shank for almost two years. Her mom says "Victoria attributes her success to your classes - its amazing to see her level of confidence soar! "

TC has landed her first lead role as "Lily" in a 22 min. film called PLANT GIRL. Produced by Affolter Entertainment who are best known for their animation work with Robotboy: Season 2, Atomic Betty and The Ren & Stimpy Show. The group has approached CBC, CTV , other networks and plans to submit the film for the Leo Awards, Cannes Short Film Festival and The Los Angeles Short Film Festival.

I started acting late in life and it has rewarded me both personally and professionally beyond measure.
